Lee Memorial Library in Allendale is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper for 10 hours per week. This is an on-site position with flexible hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and submitting bi-weekly payroll reporting for approximately 12 employees
- Managing financial reporting of receipts and disbursements to appropriate accounts
- Reconciling accounts with bank statements on a monthly basis
- Providing financial reports to management and the Board of Trustees to be used at monthly meetings
- Working with management and Finance Committee on the annual operating budget
- Coordinating materials, answering questions, and providing support during the annual audit by third-party firm
Qualifications include:
- Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Knowledge of Fund Accounting (Operating and Capital), Budget and Actuals Analysis, and an understanding of Fund Balance
- Two years professional experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and/or payroll
- The ability to effectively communicate and work as part of a team
Education requirements:
- Associate’s Degree considered
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Compensation:
- $25 – $28 per hour, depending on experience
