Lee Memorial Library welcomes patrons for walk-in and door-side services. Library policies have been updated to provide for a safe environment and productive interactions for all. Patrons MUST adhere to and comply with the amended Code of Conduct in order to receive library services.
OCCUPANCY
- Library occupancy will be strictly limited to no more than 16 people at a time
SUPERVISION
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult who supervises them in the library.
TIME ALLOTMENT
- Maximum 30 minutes per visit per person, per day
ACTIVITIES & SERVICES
- Browsing permitted
- In-person check out available
- Limited use of computers available; however, staff cannot provide help at this time
- Notary services, by appointment, for Allendale residents only
- No inside programs (Virtual programs continue)
- No tutoring
- No bulletin board access
- No seating provided
SAFETY ISSUES
- Masks/face coverings must be worn at all times at entrance and inside the building (one’s hands or shirt are not permissible face coverings)
- Social distancing rules are in place. Those at the library entrance and inside the building must maintain a distance of at least 6′ between one another.
- Patrons and staff will be separated by plexiglass at the checkout and porch pickup areas. Designated spots for queuing in advance of service are marked.
- Sanitizer & wipes are available throughout the building
- Bringing in furniture (such as tables & chairs) of one’s own is strictly prohibited
- Water fountains are closed
- No admission to 2nd Floor
- Management reserves the right to deny service to those who do not conform to the amended policies or who put others’ safety in jeopardy

- Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday: 10:00am – 8:00pm
- Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
