Summer Reading 2020

The library’s annual summer reading program for kids, teens, and adults is back! This year the summer reading program will be held entirely online via ReadSquared. Earn badges, prizes, games, find reading lists, and more!

The Summer Reading Program runs from June 22 – August 21st.

How it works

  • Earn 1 point for each minute read and logged. You can log up to 100 minutes per day.
  • Earn badges at every 100 points.
  • Special badges can be earned by doing missions.
  • Log 1000 minutes to complete the program!
  • At the end of the program period, pick up all of the prizes you’ve earned!

Summer Reading Prizes

Earn a prize for every 100 points you earn! All prizes will be distributed at the end of the summer reading program in August.

Weekly Random Prize Drawings

Log your reading during the weeks listed to be entered in a random prize drawing! Earn 1 entry for every 25 minutes logged. Prizes are as follows. The dates listed are the days to log reading to be entered into the drawing for each prize.

July 5 – July 11: Mythical Creatures Craft Kit

July 12 – July 18: Gaming Headphones

July 19 – July 25: The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Nintendo Switch
