Teen Programs

Lee Memorial Library Young Adult Department

Welcome to the Young Adult Department of the Lee Memorial Library, located in Allendale, NJ! We host a diverse collection of all the most popular novels, video games, and graphic novels.

Our year-round programs include the following:

  • Books and Battles – Every Monday at 4pm, teens ages 11 and up are invited to either compete against each other in video games or join a tabletop RPG group that reads 1 book a month. Food is provided for RPG days.
  • Writers and Poets – On alternating Wednesdays, all writers 18 years and under are welcome to share their work and critique their peers’. The workshop is overseen by a published writer and poet.
  • Teen Advisory Group – Advisors selected for this group are volunteers. This monthly meeting helps determine what programs high school clubs or community organizations will lead at the library and how special library events for teens will be advertised and created.

Please visit our calendar for an updated list of programs and online registration.
