Lee Memorial Library is a nationally ranked, service ­oriented lending library located in Allendale, NJ, a modern suburban community of 6,500 residents nestled in the Saddle River Valley, 25 miles west of New York City.The library maintains a robust collection, circulating over 150,000 print and electronic materials annually while serving as a productive work space, a gathering place for programs and presentations, and an archive of historical materials.

 

The library staff and board of directors are dedicated to promoting lifelong learning, offering access to technology resources, and providing professional services and tools that enrich, educate, and entertain our patrons.The borough of Allendale is home to the Celery Farm, a 112 ­acre nature preserve, Crestwood Park, an active leisure destination, and the John Fell House, a Revolutionary War ­era historic home, among other attractions.
